Created in 1989, le Bureau des diplômés as the mission to establish, maintain and cultivate lasting relationships with UQAM graduates, in collaboration with Faculty Graduate Councils, the UQAM ESG Network and the Graduate Institutional Council.
The work of the Graduates and Constituents Office is governed by UQAM's Policy No.35 Relations with Graduates.

Le Bureau des diplômés initiatives are aimed to strengthening the sense of belonging to UQAM graduates to their university by encouraging their involvement in the life of the university and by offering them various networking opportunities. Graduates can also take advantage of many services and privileges offered by UQAM and the office partners. With nearly 250,000 graduates shining in all sectors of activity, le Bureau des diplômés also has the priority of highlighting the contributions of graduates to social life through the dissemination of their achievements and by giving awards or various prizes.
