Student associations
The AFÉA brings together all students enrolled in one of the UQAM's Faculty of Arts degree programs. Membership provides access to the various services offered by the association and also gives access to the General Assembly, a privileged place for discussion, debate and decision-making. The primary mission of the association is to fight for the improvement of the conditions of study and life of its members as well as for the defense of their rights. AFÉA also ensures for the diffusion and the democratization of arts and culture within and beyond the walls of UQAM.

Program's Final projet
You must register for the course DES7570 – Projet de design-stage.
This course aims to implement, as part of a transportation design project, all the knowledge seen in the various courses. The main subject and goals of the project is proposed by a company with which the student will be invited to be part of a project’s work team. During weekly meetings, the student presents in front of the class the progress of his work and reflections. The different projects are analyzed collectively by teachers and students. The course aims to get the student to properly learn hot to identify contexts in the project, fulfill the objectives, know its limits and its social impact. The student also learns to develop a relevant project management strategy leading to credible solutions. The student must be able to develop the technical details of the project and then build a model or an operational prototype.
